Model: Vannessa

Vannessa originally had 2 different colors in her hair. In addition, she had highlights to try to blend the different colors together. This created an overly complicated and unrefined look.  The model really likes rich red color, so for this session I wanted to create a brighter more vibrant red but at the same time trying to keep things simple and fresh.

I focused on first removing her artificial colors and at the same time lightening her hair to obtain a good starting point.
Then I used lighter natural red brown as the best color, also I put some dark red copper blond for highlights. The new highlights worked to help create contrast to help emphasize the curls in her hair.  This resulted in a more healthy looking vibrant, lively color and hair.
