Last night we had the famous Christopher Deagle, platform artist for Davines, come into the shop last night to upgrade us on some cutting techniques. I personally wanted to work on naturally wavy hair and how can my clients acheive that look without getting frizz and too much bulk. My models hair is quite thick but medium to fine in texture but can get pretty frizzy and big at the top round of her head.

Okay, so I was out doing what I do best this weekend, which is shopping of course! I was on a mission to find a good pair of combat boots, since they are a trend for this winter (but that is not only the reason). I've been looking for the perfect pair for a while and haven't really come across one that I "love" quite yet. There are so many choices out there, it makes it more difficult to decide.

On our way to Okanagan to buy cherries and wine tasting, we stopped by Manning Park to visit the cute ground hogs! They are so cute and not afraid of people~ they come close to you and see if you'll give them a treat! Check out the video of me feeding them:
