Boots Boots and more Boots!

Okay, so I was out doing what I do best this weekend, which is shopping of course! I was on a mission to find a good pair of combat boots, since they are a trend for this winter (but that is not only the reason). I've been looking for the perfect pair for a while and haven't really come across one that I "love" quite yet. There are so many choices out there, it makes it more difficult to decide. What I am happy about is seeing everyone in there fall/winter attires, which is my favorite time of the season for fashion, lots of layering, touques, tights, sweaters, scarvess, and of course BOOTS. Be gone the days of sandals, which we do catch the occasional people out there wearing sandals still, even though it's sunny, you should have those things put away since mid september!

This reminded me of last week, when my coworker Andrea and I were headed to a L'Oreal Hair Show, we get off the bus and about 5 seconds walking her right sandal strap ripped off, I was like "your still wearing sandals, it's October!", shes like "I know I know, but they were easy to put on and the day looked somewhat nice"...so we start walking to the location we had to be at, Andrea's sandal is not helping us, slowing us down more like it, haha. So we had to figure out a solution to hold these straps down so we can get moving already. I think of an idea, I gave her a hair elastic to put around the sandal and use it as a "temporary" strap. we did it, it worked in the meantime and made it to the show just a little bit late, all thanks to the sandals of course lol. In the end we had a good laugh about it and she got rid of those sandals...for good I hope!
